Administration of the City of Rakovnik in the Late Middle Ages This work deals with the administration of the city of Rakovnik in the Late Middle Ages as it is reflected in the contemporary municipal books and records of the time. The focus of this work is on the development and operation of the municipal administration, with special attention being given to the existence and activities of city officials, as well as the purpose of individual aspects of the city's administrative life, and the control over such activities maintained by municipal authorities.
Testaments and Testamentary Practices in Kolín Municipal Books 1376-1401

The subject of the thesis are testaments conserved in Kolín municipal books dating to the period of 1376 and 1401. The last wills are analysed from the juridical and administrative point of view as well as the perspective of the studies of medieval religiosity. The aim of the thesis is to show the role and function of the testament in hereditary practices in the royal town od Kolín at the end of the 14th century. The list of the testaments with the date, reference and a brief characteristic plays an integral part of the study.
Population in the town of Telč in 18th century, based on sources of town and cadastral provenance

This diploma thesis deals with population in the town of Telč in 18th century, based on sources of town and cadastral provenance. The issue is of particular interest as it has not been researched in greater detail yet. At first, the thesis provides an introduction to the extant literature covering the history of Telč, assessing the authors' approach, what historical epoch they consider most prosperous and their perspective of the town in 18th century. Chapter II addresses sources of town and cadastral provenance, thus introducing and evaluating the sources the thesis is based on. Chapter III addresses the regulated municipal authority in Telč. Chapter IV provides an insight into the development of town population in the Bohemian lands in 17th and 18th centuries, which enables contextualizing Telč within the development. Chapter V is dedicated to the town itself, focusing on its history in the relevant period, the town's inhabitants, external description, the Inner Town and eventually, the social pattern of the inhabitants. The social pattern is described in a detailed analysis of three houses located on the town square and their owners. In the end I will describe property structure of the town councillors who were serving in office in 1762, 1766, 1768 and 1770.

The social status of members of the Unity of the Brethren in Mladá Boleslav in the early 17th century

The Unity of the Brethren has a rich history in Mladá Boleslav. This thesis focused on the social status of members of the Unity of the Brethren in Mladá Boleslav in the early 17th century. The basic source, from which the research is based, is a part of a unique finding of the Brethren Church correspondence, which had been found in 2006. This is the registra of Boleslav corps Church from the years 1610 and 1611. By the processing and evaluation of entries in these registers is determined by amount of members of the Corps unity and their percentage representation of Bohemian Brethren in the population of the city. The participation of members of the Unity in the administration of the city has been identified according to the data in the indexes and records preserved in the books of the early 17th century. The work also pays attention to the representation of Bohemian Brethren in the leading positions of individual guilds in Mladá Boleslav. The subject of research is also the property status of the members of the Unity corps in Mladá Boleslav. Research found that in 1610 and 1611 members of the Unity corps in Mladá Boleslav were 17 % to 18 % of the population of the city. Commemorative book of the market-town of Brtnice from 18th century. Diploma thesis.

The main purpose of this diploma thesis is a critical edition of the manuscript of Book of Varied Antique Sights Trhova Brtnice 1728-1768. It is a commemorative book that was created in 18th century in the environment of a dependant town. The edition is conceived in the way that enables preservation of all formal signs of a modern text. The next part of the thesis briefly summarises the historical development of the town of Brtnice. The emphasis is placed on 17th and 18th century, especially on the function of the patrimonial control and the dependant self-control. The nub of the additional text is an analysis of the resource from the point of view of outer and inner signs; furthermore, its interpretation and possible usage in the historical research.
